The house is very nice, spotless, and recently refurbished. It’s in a perfect central location, right in the heart of old Gaeta, just steps away from restaurants and shops. The owner, Letizia, is so kind and friendly. She prepared a lovely breakfast with local products that made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely come back and happily recommend this place to our friends and family.
My family and I loved our stay at Casa Gioconda. The space was very clean and centrally located to all restaurants, shops, and excursions. Letizia, the owner, is very kind, supportive, and welcoming. She has great recommendations for everything and it was really nice she would come for breakfast and conversation. We felt like we were at home and lucky to experience good Italian hospitality. We highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience!
Above and Beyond accommodation!! I enjoyed the luxury room which included a very cute sitting area with a desk and plenty of space in the bedroom with a king sized bed and small closet. Room was pleasantly decorated and well lit. All rooms have unique decor and can easily accommodate a family of 10. Great views of bell tower and nice windows. Common area of kitchen and family room is very comfortable. What makes this B&B feel like home is the owner Letizia. Not only does she provide snacks and water but she has everything available if you choose to make a meal in the full kitchen. Breakfast has more than generous selection of pastry, fruit and meat options along with juices. There’s only one concern for this apartment: Entrance from the street is 38 steep steps to the front door. Therefore if you have trouble taking stairs and/or have heavy luggage be prepared to carry them up as there may be no one available to assist you when you arrive. Be sure to go II Molo Gelateria across the street for the best gelato ever and enjoy all the the other stairs to climb in Gaeta! Thank you Letizia for such a great stay and also loaning me converter to charge my devices, all the complimentary water and snacks along with great restaurant tips!! Truly an exceptional stay!!
Had the most amazing 6 night stay at this beautiful guesthouse. The daily breakfasts were fabulous and the service was top notch! Would absolutely stay again. *note, be sure to look up to find the sign that says Casa Gioconda, and it is the big brown door below.
